The road to becoming an acs accredited gas engineer is a challenging one. Once you finally have your certificates the real challenge for many begins. Without any solo experience, or employment history in gas, gaining a foothold or employment can be very challenging, especially if you don't have all the licence elements needed for many classes of gas work. Your Training provider will usually recommend you seek work with a gas company for 2 or more years to gain the necessary skills required to acquire all the licence elements needed by most employers.

GAS LICENCE & REGISTRATION WITH CTSGROUPAfter an initial interview, and if you are selected for this program, you will spend your first week with one of our lead engineers (showing you the ropes), while we arrange your uniform, and teach you on using our software systems.
During this time and if successful, you will be provided your gas licence and registration under the CTS GROUP Umbrella. Whether you are choosing to be self employed or seeking employment the program will be tailored to your personal circumstance to provide the best possible outcome for you. If you are already self employed seeking to incorporate this discipline, we can happily fill the gaps while your business grows |

TECHNICAL SUPPORT - ON DEMANDBeing new to the gas industry you will meet with many challenges during your first few months as a licenced gas engineer. These will usually range from gas safety issues to technical assistance for a boiler repair.
You will have FREE access to our technical support hotline, Online Job Sheets, & Audit Service. You will receive regular technical updates as they are issued by gas safe, and undergo continuing professional development |
